Nice work Kafee :thumbsup: , I am also a sound nut & this just tops off the allround mod changes from GR original.

PS - Hoak - Easy fella, not everyone is "an experienced Sound Designer" :rocky: -Infact why havent you sorted out a sound mod then? :whistle:

I wasnt knocking him .. good comments on sound etc ;) .

I just had a play on a mass firefight mission with this mod active ... ooh sounds much more "intense" than before ... the ricoche fx realy help it alot when you get a suprise shot up the ass! :o:D

:drool: Another magnificent piece of work Kafee! This mod stays on my machine, all the time, as of now, man! Best G.R. sound mod I've heard yet and there's been some gooood ones! You've definately got the touch Kafee.

I suppose many GR players have by now heard about this sound pack and read these feedbacks, but anyway, would anyone be interested making a full length review about this to the Mod Reviews -section?

I liked a lot of the sounds. The sniper rifles were definately all improved. The M-60 sounds just realistic.

I didn't like the full automatic gun fire sounds of the M-4, AK-47 and AK-74. Just didn't sound real.

Overall there are a lot of improvements.

I had the time so I tried to make some new sounds for M4, AK-47, AK-74, AKS-74U and VZ58 auto fire.

Over here are the replacements

Now the semi and auto should sound more the same.

Are you sure those are the right sounds? The ones I got sounded like the very end of the automatic fire sounds but other than that nothing.

Also, as soon as you have a final version out, Kafee, lets talk about a Mac version because I already have one ready seeing as how I had to convert the .wav sounds to .aif for myself and I'd like to make a version public to the mac community even though its relatively easy to DIY.

Loot, did you try those sounds in-game or just with a media player? You have to loop them to hear what they really sound like. I designed them so they sound good both when heard close and from distance.

If you just disable the mod, will GR use and keep the original sounds? You're not actually replacing the sounds, right? It's just like adding another mod, isn't it?

Lol, I don't wanna take any credit away from Kafee, this is completely 100% his mod I'm just here throwing my 2 (okay 3) cents in but I'll answer your question anyways.

It is a mod that you activate (if you open up the folder you can see the ModsCont.txt file like all other mods have. When you turn it off all your [Ghost Recon] sounds will be restored. I suppose you could always replace all the files for your own private use but I wouldn't suggest doing so. Also stated in Kafee's readme if you wan't to use the sounds in your own mod to email him and ask permission.
