PS - Hoak - Easy fella, not everyone is "an experienced Sound Designer" -Infact why havent you sorted out a sound mod then? Silver_Sword3
I don't think he meant it in a mean way, just helpful criticism. But anyway I love the sounds and this is the only MOD I always have activated.

Kafee
Hoak was just providing me with welcome criticism and I'm thankful for that. Thank you all for you're positive feedback! I'm glad to hear that this mod has improved your gaming experience.
JIGGER
Another magnificent piece of work Kafee! This mod stays on my machine, all the time, as of now, man! Best G.R. sound mod I've heard yet and there's been some gooood ones! You've definately got the touch Kafee.
Kafee
I suppose many GR players have by now heard about this sound pack and read these feedbacks, but anyway, would anyone be interested making a full length review about this to the Mod Reviews -section? snared_gambit
That sample is just golden, the music just makes it perfect. It reminds me of those really creepy shows and movies with clowns in them. Sounds are great too.
Militiaman
I liked a lot of the sounds. The sniper rifles were definately all improved. The M-60 sounds just realistic. I didn't like the full automatic gun fire sounds of the M-4, AK-47 and AK-74. Just didn't sound real. Overall there are a lot of improvements. talib_killa34
My new default sounds from now on and on. That and have WOW 3 for the grenade explosions and ricochet sounds and it's on! Great job man, great job!

Kafee
I had the time so I tried to make some new sounds for M4, AK-47, AK-74, AKS-74U and VZ58 auto fire. Over here are the replacements Now the semi and auto should sound more the same.
Recon
I gotta admit this is the only mod other than Standard Upgrade that is constantly on when I play [GR]... Ditto.
ROCO*AFZ*
One last question... how does it sound in 5.1 surround? Do the directions sound good? just wondering if anyone has tried them that way yet.
Loot
I had the time so I tried to make some new sounds for M4, AK-47, AK-74, AKS-74U and VZ58 auto fire. Over here are the replacements Now the semi and auto should sound more the same. Are you sure those are the right sounds? The ones I got sounded like the very end of the automatic fire sounds but other than that nothing. Also, as soon as you have a final version out, Kafee, lets talk about a Mac version because I already have one ready seeing as how I had to convert the .wav sounds to .aif for myself and I'd like to make a version public to the mac community even though its relatively easy to DIY. Kafee
Loot, did you try those sounds in-game or just with a media player? You have to loop them to hear what they really sound like. I designed them so they sound good both when heard close and from distance.
Buzz
I've downloaded the mod. How do I install it? Or should I say, where? THanks!
Kafee
Ghost Recon -> Mods Unzip it there. It should create Kafee Soundpack -folder in which you should find all the sounds from a Sounds -folder.
Kinetic
sweet job, kafee! i only d/l it a few days ago and it's pretty much on all the time now.
Loot
Oh okay so they loop... Thats what I thought but I didn't really wanna replace the sounds and then have them not work (Backing the files up never crossed my mind lol).
Buzz
Loot / Kafee, If you just disable the mod, will GR use and keep the original sounds? You're not actually replacing the sounds, right? It's just like adding another mod, isn't it? Thanks for the install info! I'll try it tonight! Buzz

Buzz Lol, I don't wanna take any credit away from Kafee, this is completely 100% his mod I'm just here throwing my 2 (okay 3) cents in but I'll answer your question anyways. It is a mod that you activate (if you open up the folder you can see the ModsCont.txt file like all other mods have. When you turn it off all your [Ghost Recon] sounds will be restored. I suppose you could always replace all the files for your own private use but I wouldn't suggest doing so. Also stated in Kafee's readme if you wan't to use the sounds in your own mod to email him and ask permission.
Loot
PS, a great mod to play with this is Droopy's realism mod (which is a great mod in itself)
