H-Hour 0
I messed up my lighting tool settings and I'm not sure how to get them back. I usually have it set up for one map, and don't have to reset the map or texture directory. But I switched it to test out some lighting on a new map. Now, in the lighting tool, all of my custom textures have always shown up as pure white, but when I get into Igor and game they work fine. After I tried the lighting tool on a new map, switching the map and texture directory (same sky/sky texture dir) the textures show up as pure white in Igor and in game. When I export and test the same map and simply bypass the lighting tool, all textures show up fine. Anyone know what I did to screw this up? Or can you give me a quick run down of what settings might be causing the problem? I have a working folder where I dump the map exports and all textures. I then light the map and copy it all into the proper place in my mod folder. I have tried to set my texture directory as my working folder and as the map folder in /themod/themap/ and neither of them are working. Maybe I just forgot what I used to set it to, but I thought it was one of those.
Biro 0
All textures used in the map, should be in the same folder (your working folder), and you should point the alpha texture setting window to this directory. If this is done properly even your custom textures will show up in the lighting tool, atleast if you use all the latest plugins toghter with the IT version of the lighting tool. Open LT and point it to texture and map directory, which I belive always should be the same. It's possible to have this in different dirs. but what's the point? Maybe check the export debug file? Sounds like a bit of an odd problem to me...remember me of when I was using the DS version of the LT but had all the latest .rsb plugins. That caused exactly the same problem you have there now, but when it have worked before it shouldn't be that either.
H-Hour 0
Where is this alpha texture setting? I can't find it. That's not a bad idea, either. If I can't figure it out I'll try pulling the lighting tool off the IT cd and starting over. Thanks for the help.
