ZJJ 74
I tried this out last night and it wasn't what I expected. I anticipated having to think more and figure out who done it. It's more like be thorough in searching for evidence and if you find the right evidence, you catch your "man". Anyone else tried this out?
deadly_sniper22 0
i looked at it but never bought it. Good thing i guess eh?!
Schenkanator 0
TV Show(s) - Top class - never missed an episode since like the 4th when I got into it (apart from the one time I was camping and mum forgot to tape it - grrr). Game - looked bad. Apparently it was. The fact that it started at $50 AU (and most start at $80 or $90) was a fair hint.
ZJJ 74
I love the "original" show. Don't care much for the Miami version. The game gives you five crimes to solve. I've played it for 3 hours and I have 4 of the crimes solved. At this point I don't see much replayability, unless I go back and try to find 100% of the evidence. The graphic options are minimal, you have low and high. The sound options are on/off, no way to choose which sounds are on or off. It's not linear, which is why you can miss some evidence, but still solve the crime. Working with the tools, locations, and evidence is a bit cumbersome. The tabs are small and if you aren't careful where you click you end up on the wrong tab. There are places where you HAVE to wait for the CSI personnel to talk before you can do what you need to do (like collect evidence or analysis evidence). It's a game I would recommend to rent, but not buy.

ZJJ 74
Will it actually be a show or is it just the one episode where Miami goes to New York? If will be a show, I have a feeling it will be better than Miami as I like the actors that are the New York CSI group.
The_Slink 0
I liked it but like mentioned it hasn't got a great deal of replayability. It's got quite an interesting storyline though....
Schenkanator 0
I think Jack's daughter (her name escapes me) from 24 is in it...
deadly_sniper22 0
i'll have to agree with you zjj, on that CSI Miami kinda blows. I just cna't get into as much and i don't like the actors. The original csi is the best!

supasniper 0
what's your betting that they'll tie it in with the other NY ones with the same characters
XavierOnasis 0
With the size of audience CSI has, they've got to design the games to the LCD. Which is Larry and Dee-Wayne dragging their unwashed brood through Wal-Mart. If games are designed so that the masses can complete them, the rest of us can't have fun with them. ZJJ 74
While watching the season ending last night, I saw the preview for the new CSI series to take place in NY! It will have actors/actresses I like, so I may be able to enjoy that series.
MarauderMike 0
i'll have to agree with you zjj, on that CSI Miami kinda blows. I just cna't get into as much and i don't like the actors. The original csi is the best! It totally blows... David Caruso (sp?) is apparently a Cop who has done everything (Bomb Squad, SWAT, Detective, Blah Blah Blah), everybody else seems to be there to look pretty and feed him clever lines/info so he can save the day. Reminds me of Law & Order CI - that guy is a schmo and his partner doesn't do anything... I watched like 4 episodes of each and that was it. The original is the best (as is SVU for L&O). While watching the season ending last night, I saw the preview for the new CSI series to take place in NY! It will have actors/actresses I like, so I may be able to enjoy that series. Hopefully it won't suck. Watch and Shoot.
ZJJ 74
Did anyone see the CSI: Miami in NY episode? I missed it.
ZJJ 74
Click here for more information on CSI: NY. It looks like it will be airing on Wednesday nights at 10:00 p.m. Who wants to bet that "Sara Sidle" will not be back for the entire season next year?
MarauderMike 0
Who wants to bet that "Sara Sidle" will not be back for the entire season next year? I hope she moves on... I never liked her part in the show, not much of a team-player and always looking make the next step up(in a bad way, if you know what I mean). While watching the season ending last night, I saw the preview for the new CSI series to take place in NY! It will have actors/actresses I like, so I may be able to enjoy that series. Gary Sinise eh? Very promising.
