Crimson 0
EA is comming out with another Battlefield, this time set in present day. Lock and load, soldier! There's a war going on and Battlefield 2 is going to drop you right into the middle of a 21st century shoot-out! The good news is that you have a team of grunts at your side to help you survive the frenzied close-quarters combat. The bad news is that you have to engage the enemy on their home turf, at the world's most dangerous hot spots. You'll need to unleash the fury of an awesome high-tech arsenal that includes laser-guided bombs, heat-seeking missiles, and much more in order to survive. You have all the tools you need to get the job done--Abrams tanks, F-15 Strike Eagles, Wasp Class assault carriers, you name it. Hit the enemy with everything you've got. This is no minor skirmish--this is all-out war with all the high-tech firepower you can muster. And it's for the PC! BF 2.

SFLUFAN 0
Also - to get me MUCH more intersted in this one: The single player aspect of the game is also getting a major update. They plan on really making the single player mode stand out compared to what has come before in the series. A new AI system is in the works and should really make a difference. Still no official word about Co-Op maps but my gut tells me it should make the cut. I also suspect more enhanced mod support this time around and the continuation and support from the MDT suite of tools. and this: Now this is something I noticed that will no doubt make a lot of you people happy. When the soldier zoomed in the sight on his weapon iron sights appeared. I would not call them full fledged iron sights though, but they do seem to make the game more realistic and just plain cool. I mean, they do not fill the enter screen like most iron sights in a FPS do, usually. It looked like the right blending of both worlds and hit a nice sweet spot
