submurge it in water till it removes it head , Rub vasoiline on the back side so it cant breathe mmmm what else did the boy scouts teach me that i cant remember , DONT USE TWEEZERS they will just remove the body while the head is still attached inside

oh well, mom called the doc and talked to a nurse who had her pull it out, (btw, I have the boy scouts manuel, and it says to use tweezers) anyways after getting it out I looked at it under a microscope and the head was still attached.

Yea i had a tick ahh in a place couple years ago and i tried pulling it out it out with tweezers and it ripped the body off :wall: . Thats why i said dont do that but im glad you got it out

Our backyard had tick problem.... our dog would go out for part of the day

she would bring em in... fortunitly i become very good at removing tics from her first.. so when i seen one on me it was no biggy... and neither of us ever got sick .

:D tweezers r the best way to go
