I have been trying to get Thumpers 762mm mod for a while now and I'll be damed if fileplanet/gamespy is completly useless. I've had an account there for years but every time I try to D/L this mod I get thrown to a screen talking about my account and stuff (I already have one and it always says I'm logged in) so when I try to go find the file.....all I get is empty pages and a whole lot of nada.

Anyone have a place to D/L this file without going thru the madness that is fileplanet?

so far after spending about an hour of my life looking for Thumpers 7.62mm mod....File planet has lost it. It is no longer there and niether are the 2 updates.

If someone has some insite......I'm all ears but I hope Thumper knows they seem to have lost his work.

Just try it again mate, I just tested the link in the download section and it worked for me. First click gave me the "not found" error but the second attempt got through ok. Fileplanet can be alittle iffy at times

Nope...........every link leads to the "Gee we merged and we are all wonderful page....donate your spleen and such"

I go to mods...then GR series....then it lists 9 weapons mods. It is not found in any other catagory. I know Thumper makes kick ass mods but if they want cash to D/L it (they being FP not Thumper) then I'll just have to be happy with the stuff I have from the end of 2003 and be done with it.

Weird, I don't get anything like that when I try getting it. Are you using the link in GR.net's download section, the one saying "762mm" from the Equipment list??

Just amuse me and try again, if that fails then I'll try to hook you up with the files some other way ;) To good a mod to miss out on.

Ok, it was a cookie thing.....I think. I still get that "Account" screen at home but at work yesterday I created a new account and freaking paid for the fast download and lo and behold it worked so I burned a cd at work (blanet mis-use of office supplies and all that) and got to play with all the cool M14's and such.

But even if you go to the fileplanet mods page then to GR then into that menu.....none of this stuff shows up.

It must be a cookie thing as my home PC is locked up tight to keep all the crap out when I'm online gaming and stuff.

very strange.

You cannot find my mod by searching directly on FilePlanet. You have to use the connection through this website, since it it stored under folders set up for @war. Below are the direct links:

762mm Mod (Original)

762mm Mod v1.5 Upgrade

You will not need the v1.2 update, as it is part of v1.5

As Snow said, The first time I connect to FP, I get the "File Not Found" error. I just reclick the link to FP and it goes through. Hope this helps and thanks for trying my work!
