BornToKill 0
Few things, In your ENV file, what are your settings for:- Far Clipping distance, Near Range, Far Range, Layer Range, and Layer Height? Post these settings up. Are you stood on or near or looking thru a portal in that shot? Also what lighting has been applied? is the texture self illuminated in 3dsm material editor? cobaka 0
Ah! I just had this problem and it took me for freakin' ever to figure it out Is the ground all one polygon? Break it up into several smaller ones -e.g. instead of a plane with one polygon 400 by 400 meters, make it a plane with stay, 16 polygons, each 100 by 100m. That should do it. For some reason, fog just can't handle one large single poly.
sleeper 0
^ rgr that Cobaka. I had been having this problem frequently with some large water areas in a couple of my maps. Once I finally figured out that it was because I was using one big flat plane the problem went away. This drove me nuts for hours one day, no changing of the .env fog settings will help unless you push the clipping and distance waaay back(which eliminates the fog altogether anyways).
