I am making alittle quick mission and i have a set of russain soldiers 18 of them helping you out on the mission. I had about 2 plattons of enemy soilders and was testing them out so far. I went on superman and shadow and went to check them out. There was a fierce fire fight and all but one enemy soilder was dead.

he was firing like crazy :o= he killed a few russains. The russians made an advance on him and than he put his gun to his side and surrendered. (knelt down arms in air)

My problem is why did he surrender. I have no wear in the script for him to

A) flee

B} go on captive or hostage behavior

C} panic actor

second why did the russians kill him after he surrendered?

I ran into the same problem with my Omaha mission. It seems if their unit takes a lot of casualties, the survivors have a chance of just giving up. So far I haven't been able to figure out how to keep them from doing that, or how to rally them.

Do you have a plan assigned for these actors-the ones who you say surrender?? If you do, do you have Alertness as one of the steps?? Whether you have a plan or not, put a plan for these actors and with a step of Alertness. Options for this step include-Bored, Combat, Alert, and Panic, which you can put on Set, Lock, or Unlock. Set the options for either combat, alert or bored and put it on Lock. If you put it on Set or unlock, or do not have a Plan-Step of Alertness, the actors can switch between these different settings depending on what the circumstances are. If they are surrounded and have taken heavy casualties, they will more than likely surrender. If you have it set on LOCK, they will always be locked onto whatever you chose.
