The_Robot 0
Im running a NVidia GeForce4 Ti 4200 graphics card... and GR worked fine. Until i recently installed the lastest drivers... now every time i go to start GR it CTD. What i want to know is if there is anyway i can make GR run using these new drivers instead of the older ones, as my other games require the newest drivers.
snakebite1967 0
what do u mean by teh latest drivers which versions ? if your using the 60 series leaked beta drivers then many ppl are having issues those newer drievrs were written for the nv40 and not realy optimised for gf4 or earlier cards
The_Robot 0
Its an MSI based card running official drivers version 5.3.0.3 off the top of my head anything after version 4.2 wont play GR as it results in resetting to the desktop. With version 4.2 it plays fine, but then i cant play my newer games as they need the latest drivers and if the latest drivers are installed the GR wont run as it needs 4.2 The CTD happens with either MSI's official or Nvidias offical. The_Robot 0
I make sure all my drivers are upto date every few weeks or so, in fact just updated the video card drivers again to see if that would help but still no joy. its wierd, ive actually gotten it to nearly start a few times...but then it CTD's again the only errors that i can find is in the IKECrash file. which is: GhostRecon caused an Access Violation in module GhostRecon.exe at 001b:000000bc Read from location 000000bc caused an access violation Stack trace: 000000BC: <no module><no symbol>, <no file>, <no line> 007B9411: GhostRecon.exe! <no symbol>, <no file>, <no line> 0020004C: <no module><no symbol>, <no file>, <no line> This mean anything to anyone ? everything else seems to say its been loaded. Any Ideas ?
