magnumkp 0
Yeah, so am I, but the badlands of 56k stop me short. However, it does look a lot of fun (you can walk about the maps and do some mp training). For those with ATI cards anyone else having trouble with Sam's shadow looking seriously pixelated? I even spent an hour d/ling the new 4.4 drivers which in the release notes said it should help, but to be honest in some parts they still look bloody awful.
Cpl Ledanek 247
I didnt think about that, sorry for ruining it,I thought it had been out long enough for people to beat it by now Is this on the demo or the full game. I just got the SP demo. 2nd mission rocks with the tall grass. way better grass than SOF2. Saving my lunch money on this one. Know any site to get it cheap?

Crimson 0
I beat the game, not much replay value IMO, but going through it for the first time is a blast.
OSO 0
I just beat the game too. I played it on hard and it took me roughly 30 hours. There are a lot of features that I like and a lot that I loathe. What I like: I liked the new moves added. It also seemed that a lot of the levels were built with the these in mind as well as the older moves. The lighting and realism factor on these levels is top notch. The MP side is a great change of pace for those inclined to do so. One of the things I noticed was that quite a few spy teams were going for "kill" victories over the mercs rather than the objectives. I really found that to be lame but it's not ubi's fault that people are doing that. If that's how the MP community is going to continue to play, I'll find some other venue quickly. The cutscene movies are very well directed and highly realistic. What I loathe: The menu system lacks professionality. I'm aware of the issue of it being constructed in both Montreal and Hong Kong but this could have been coordinated better. It basically loads the ubi logo, followed by a menu to select SP, MP, or the credits. After you make your selection, it unloads this engine and loads either the SP or MP engine. I've also had it lock up on me several times during this process which was quite annoying. The length of the SP game is too short. If this was an expansion pack, I would be more forgiving but its a stand-alone game that deserved more. I also felt that it wasn't as challenging as the first SC. I can count on one hand the number of "boss" situations that needed several reloads to accomplish. The character animations were too stiff in the cutscenes and the moments when you had to speak with a NPC. A little training for their animation team would pay off dividends here. There still isn't mod support. Its the Unreal engine and there isn't any excuse for that IMHO.
Super-Bob 0
I've also had it lock up on me several times during this process which was quite annoying. The same thing always happened to me, what I did was create a shortcut that directly ran the SP exe. I can count on one hand the number of "boss" situations that needed several reloads to accomplish. I totally agree with that, one of my favorite parts in SC1 was the last part of Abattoir where you had to protect the hostages then kill Grinko. There was nothing like that in PT.
