CtheHammer
This is sort of like MVD's question about berets, but do any of you that are former Marines have any tips as to how to roll the sleeves of my camouflage blouse so that they look sharp and crisp for a board I have to go before on Thurday? In NROTC we typically don't wear camouflage except for a few different occasions, this being one of them. Thanks for any input. C
tommy15
Here is a link to a video that show how we do it in the Coast Guard. The video is kinda cheesey so just weed through the useless stuff. USCG Odu's
WhiteKnight77
One way I used to roll them up was to pull the sleeve up about 2/3rds of the way up, then pull what was left about half way up to leave about 3 " from the original fold uncovered. Take and fold the original back over the second fold to hide the inside and have the outside visible from the shoulder down to your elbow. I hope this helps. WhiteKnight77
I even checked out that video and it takes a while to load, but it shows the method I was trying to describe.
Dan
Roll it, fold it nice and straight, a good size guide is 4 fingers. Cover in spray on starch and iron. (i have no marine experience etc, i was just an ESCC cadet)
WhiteKnight77
I was in the air wing, we were really relaxed out there and for the most part, I rarely wore a cover. Formations was something I always tried to get out of and once I earned my wings, I always wore a zoom bag (flight suit).
