Dick Splash 23 Posted March 21, 2004 Share Posted March 21, 2004 My mate's got a P4 2.66 (I think), a decent graphics card, 2.1 speakers and a 19" flat panel. It's not even high end really, but it puts my PC to shame. The sub really helps on the sound, and I have to say I had a better set up in Britain, but my priorities have changed living over here so I'm making do with a pair of JBL's (budget) as I had to sell my brand new 6.1 Creatives Now I've yet to be convinced with flat panel monitors, but his was connected 'digitally' via a DVI cable. "Blimey"......what a difference that made . It was bright and sharp and it wasn't even a known brand. It cost him a few pennies though and he had to swap his first one because of a dead pixel. I've been looking at a 21" Sony CRT for my next monitor, but I might have to reconsider. He also played Unreal 3 [a game I've never seen gameplay of before] and it looked beautiful.
