So, whats your favorite recipe in the after hour?

Recommended Posts

What do need you need after a late night job, a great night out or laying sleepless in bed for 3 hours?

The answer is food. A filthy, greasy meal, to fill that black hole in the stomach.

So here is my recipe for the after hour;

- 1 can of white beans in tomatosauce

- 1 onion, sliced

- 200 grams of sliced porkmeat

- 1 big carrot, sliced in length, really thin

- some drops of tabasco at your own taste

- Fry the meat

- Head up the beans and throw the onion in it, drop some tabasco in at own will

- now here is the secret of the recipe; throw the really thin sliced carrot in the fried meat for a very short time. This combination is really The Bomb

- and thats it, enjoy

After this diet for almost half a year; what is your answer to this uber-hunger in the late night hours?

i lived off these in college. i named this sandwich the failure.

3-4 slices* of spam (not the "lite" spam - who knows what they put in that?)

1 egg

2 slices white bread

2 slices cheese

fry slices of spam in frying pan with thin layer of cooking oil (as opposed to gasoline oil)

fry to a nice crisp but not too burnt

in the meantime, toast the bread (dont forget to butter it right when its done so it melts all nice)

put the spam slices on a towel and let drain ... more healthy that way

in the meantime, throw the egg on the frying pan -- must be cooked over-easy

as soon as egg is done, put on top of slices and then the cheese on that -- this will melt the cheese

cut the sandwich in half so the egg yolk bleeds and gets all gooey

* its all about how thin you slice the spam. cant be too thin but cant be too thick. experiment with it.

:santa:

A kippered herring omelette, with carmelized onion.

Either that or good Korean sushi.

Mind you, I've also been known to leap out of bed at four in the morning with the driving need to bake fresh whole wheat bread. From scratch.

-Velvetta Shells and Cheese

-1pkg of cheddar-wursts from the local store (you know...package has about 5-6 sausages in it..cheese filled..) sliced into bit sized pieces (bite sizes vary per grunt)

-1/2 a green bell pepper

dice bell pepper and toss in a frying pan with a bit of butter. Begin to brown.

start cooking shells...

when 1/2 way done browning pepperpieces, add sausage slices, cook.

When shells are done, drain as usual and then check sausages. When sausages are done, add to shells and then add the velvetta cheese. Mix and eat.

Cooking time : about 15 minutes..

All you need.

You want to get fancy, get some salsa (the hotter the better).

I love spicy food.

Hot pockets, especially Philly Steak and Cheese ones  Or the cup of noodles spicy chile chicken flavor. Wash it down with some fruit beverage. Or, macaroni and cheese is good, with a lot of pepper added. Another favorite of mine is saltine crackers with butter on them. So good. Speaking of crackers, how bout crackers and cheese? Hey, cheese! I've got an actual recipe now . . .

Get 2-5 dinner rolls

Cut em in half

Put cheese on both halves, I use cheddar or provolone

Put it in the broiler till the cheese is melted

Sprinkle garlic powder, salt, and white pepper on top and enjoy. Mmmm . . .

*scurries into kitchen*
