budgie 1
I TK'd three times in one session - all dumb trigger happy accidents. First time I hit a guy running past my sights while I was laying down cover. I was a medic then so I had to patch up my own mess. Second time one of my guys comes round the corner with an enemy weapon. Now in my experience playing AA I've been killed so many times by some guy who came around a corner that thought I had covered. I dunno how they do it. I watch the space, see movement and press the LMB. They walk straight out, turn, see me and pop me before the shot gets out! They're so quick. So when I saw an RPK, I didn't wait - ended up waxing one of my own guys. By then I was suffering from DSS so bad that I was jumpy as heck. I had a bad guy dead in my sights coming up the stairs and opened up. he still got me! What's going on here? Waiting in the same spot in the next turn, I got nervous when I heard enemy fire downstairs. A body steps into the shadows at the bottom of the stairs and I wax him. I get a good look at his uniform just as he goes down - oops, another one of mine. I went upstairs and 'naded myself. Noticed as I signed off they were initiating a vote to kick me. Man I suck. Crimson 0
LMAO! Sorry man... but that sounds like my first month playing AA 1.0. Keep at it, you'll get the hang of it.
firefly2442 0
You'll get better. You could always wait and see if they shoot back but then you're probably dead... Join a clan and practice team movements and planning?
Zantar45 0
I'm guessing there isn't a IFF like in GR? Edited March 17, 2004 by Zantar45
Crimson 0
When you're at very close ranges, your ret will turn green and your friendly's name will pop up. I'd say you'd have to be within 15 feet or so, so it's not the most helpful thing in the game. Budgie, the enemy wears black ski masks. ZJJ 74
I TK'd three times in one session - all dumb trigger happy accidents. Wow! This sounds familiar when playing GR, only it was only once in one session.

Yea and your ret turns red for the enemy at really close range..gotta run into him though..if you read the manual it says enemy always have darker uniforms.A good thing to watch is when you start look at what your teams uniforms are. budgie 1
Did it again last night. RPGs don't shoot too straight and I ended up blowing up a buddy. Got my honour knocked back a point for it. I'll never get to SF now! Any more tricks like that and they'll give me a gold statuette of William Hung.
