Slick Rick 0 Posted March 16, 2004 Share Posted March 16, 2004 Hi, could somebody possibly help me connect to play GR online, I have tried UBI.COM, GAMESPY and ALL SEEING EYE but everytime I try to join a game it says connecting for about 20 seconds then crashes to the muliplayer screen in GR displaying the message 'Cannot connect - Unknown Reason' I have tried disabling the firewall, and don't think it is a spec problem from my p.c as it 'should' easily be capable of playing GR online. Plus my BB internet connection is fast enough. Are there any particular settings I need to adjust or something I am overlooking in order to connect? All help would be appreciated as I am dyng to play GR against real people rather than predictable computer enemies. Plus if anyone knows of any good GR servers, especially ones that allow mods then let me know!!! Cheers, B. Quote Link to post Share on other sites

It is now letting me connect to games but I can't find one that will let me in now cos I don't have Desert siege or Island Thunder!!!! Do you know of any games that I can join without the add ons? There was alot of server fixes in IT and the 1.4 patch for crashes and that is why most servers use them. I suggest purchasing them as the weapons and gameplay is far better afterwards... WhiteKnight sometimes hosts original Gr sometimes, and also watch out for other hosts in the Games Forum. But my advice would be gettign DS and IT as most if not all servers need them, and most of the mods nowdays as well. Quote Link to post Share on other sites
