The part I love is that you can pick up objects in the environemtn like a chair, fuel cannister, car battery and throw them to blow up/distract eneies etc. I found out something cool too.... I sniped off an enemies leg, then I picked up his leg and bludgeoned the next enemy to death with it! Haha! I like how you can pick up a glass bottle, smash it over the enemys head and then (if they still alive) you can stab them with the broken bottle....Muahahahahaha! You can throw the bottle at them too but it's nowhere near as fun....Nice plank of wood to bop 'em on the head with too.... In simulation mode, the game is very realistic - the recoil is realistic, no good runnin' and gunnin' like Rambo, cuz you won't hit ****! In simulation mode, you can only carry limited weapons too (one melee weapon, dual pistols, M4 etc). If you want to pick another weapon, you gotta drop one (or 2, as in in dual pistols etc) you already got. In arcade there's no recoil, you can carry as many weapons as you want....I not lay arcade mode!! Rat drones just own....now you can physically "become the weapon" and run around as a rat suicide bomber (rat with explosives strapped to it)....I chopped off an enemies head with the katana too....Who let Nightmare out? Who who who who who? There is an annoying M60 bug though....as soon as you fire one round from the M60, the bullet belt thats fed into the gun from the box disappears, but you can still fire the rest of the M60 rounds....hmmmm....I need to get the patch to fix that I think. Some of the voice acting is really good, some is gay. And as the game uses the Unreal 2 engine, some of the textures could have been alot better (the hands of the characters are like blocks....). Over 50 characters to choose from for MP too.... Ah, I love this game. Any of you guys got this game? I ain't played it online yet, how the MP? Alot of pikeys/lamers/noobs/cheaters etc in MP or not? I wanna know if you can add new weapons to the game (I have 3DSM)....dual Tec-9's will do nicely.... Quote Link to post Share on other sites

Does this mean nightmares end is nigh? heheh just kiddin I saw this game nightmare a little while back when E3 was on and thought it looked impressive, and the reviewwe fell in love with the rat thing to lol. You know, with your little love for yourself you'd (apostrophe to indicate omission of letters) have thought that buy (incorrect spelling) now you'd (apostrophe to indicate omission of letters) be able to spell Nightmare (proper name, and to match his title), but in your sig you seem to have spelled it/your name nighmare. Does this mean Nightmare's (the end belonging to Nightmare) end is nigh? Heheh just kidding. (Letter missing, no full stop, or sentence ending punctuation.) /Pedant. I've had the game for a few weeks (completed like in 2 days too) and I just noticed, there's no rear sight on the M4. Sometimes your AI team mates weapons disappear out of their hands too. I dunno how that happens but one minute they got like the M4 then next minute they got no weapon. So I take one of my weapons like the awesome Tiko SMP and throw it over to me AI team mates who ain't got his gun (I assume the AI team mate has run out of ammo), but they don't pull out the weapon I just threw over to 'em.... Also, the enemies pick up dead enemies weapons. I seen 'em do it. Anyone know if you can add new weapons to Devastation? Baseball bat, brass knuckles, Barret M82A1, FA-MAS G2, double barrel sawn off shotgun, dual Desert Eagles and dual Tec-9's for me please There is only one assualt rifle in Devastation. I would have liked a selection of a few more (after all there's 2 different shotguns, 4 different pistols etc). Also, the game is set in 2075 and as we know, they are phasing out the M4 (and M16) series of weapons before 2075 (replacing them with XM8) so maybe they should have put a [few] different assualt rifle(s) in there instead. It isn't just yours that are jacked, look at the I'm Not A Seal thread, or the Calling All Aussies one in Off Topic. And there was only 4 truely off topic posts made. I still play H&D2!! Also, I know a H&D2 expansion pack is coming....with co-op anda flamethrower among other things. Flamethrower was supposed to be in the initail H&D2 release, but they took it out upon release for some reason. Check the game files....it referances: "Flamenwerfer" which means flamethrower. I'm hoping they'll throw in some mod tools too.... Airport on Lone Wolf mode? How do you think I am? Rambo? Jon Wayne? Superman? lol....I prefer to have backup with me to help out. There's 2 airports....Africa mission 1 and one of the other Africa missions (I forgot the mission name) where you capture the German Colonel. You can blag on that one too.... Amazing what you can find out from playing thru the H&D2 mission again.....On Burma mission 2, with a little jiggery pokery, I found that there's some dead allied soldiers behind the small village. You can pick up thier dog tags and weapons. There's a Katana in one of the huts in the village....but you can't use the Katana.... Quote Link to post Share on other sites
