Mojodog 0 Posted March 10, 2004 Share Posted March 10, 2004 Please can someone help me with install of mods. The install starts fine then I get a error message say CRC error: corrupt filled. Could not complete install because of the error. Or it completes the install but things on missing in the game that did not install. I have uninstalled mods and GR. Pave Low 16 Posted March 11, 2004 Share Posted March 11, 2004 CRC errors indicate the source and installed files are different/mismatched IE they have been corrupted in Download or Installation. What is your net connection, users on 56k downloading very large mods will sometimes get this if there is a minor transmission interruption during D/L Did you run/open other things on your PC whilst it was downloading or installing as this also could cause “hicups”. Where are you downloading from ? (if always from the same site, then try another one see if that helps) Do you always use the same place for the D/L destination? try choosing a different drive/location as if there is a problem in that partition it may affect anything saved there, also there could be a problem with the installation destination location, try changing it.
