Sup 0 Posted March 10, 2004 Share Posted March 10, 2004 Very fun. biggest flaw, IMO, is that on the easy mode, you can tell where all of the objectives are before you see them, so it's a lot less fun.. .and on normal mode, you can't save unless it's in Real Time mode, (comes on when there's no combat). There are static machine guns around that I used once. Tank huh? Good thing my guys have lots of grenades Oh! And a cool thing I did... placed a mine at my flank and kept going through the level shooting baddies up, couple turns later I hear this BOOOOM!... very satisfying Quote Link to post Share on other sites

The voice acting is pretty bad but the gameplay makes up for it. SS has gotten some good reviews. pc.ign.com gave it like 8 something I think. Instead of sending in a mixed squad of a heavy weapons guy, soldier, scout, sniper, eng. etc. I sent in only snipers and a heavy weapons guy. LOL. Engaged the enemy out in the open over long range. With my elite hidden snipers, the enemy was no match for my superior sniper power. Mwuahahahaaha! Quote Link to post Share on other sites
