Stewy 0
Ok question here... You know how you fire a 10 round burst on the Saw, and the last few rounds will often land a mile off target? Is there any way to make the Saw not jump so much when a long burst is fired? Like the FN-P90...you can fire 20 rounds into a tree from a distance and 20 rounds will hit ( not 2 or 3 like the Saw) It's hard to believe that a special forces soldier will be such a poor shot with the gun - the saw like it is now is like its being shot by a recruit fot the first time... swifty 0
reduce the recoil in the .gun file for it.
Gen.Montgomery 0
Open the desired gun file in the equipment folder in your chosen mod. Adjust the recoil by lowering the number. The lower the number the lesser recoil. I did that to my MP5's, with wonderful results.

Avey 0
On my computer it say's windows can't open the file. I've been wanting to be able to do that since I started DL'ing. You need to 'assign' a text editor to it such as notepad/wordpad.
Tommy35 0
Could you explain the steps to do that,I'm computer challanged.
supasniper 0
you need to double click the file then it will tell you to either pick a program from a list or search the web for one, pick the pick from a list option and select notepad or wordpad and you should be ok
Tommy35 0
OK , I'm there. Do I adjust all the accuracy values down to reduce recoil effect or just recoil or both? Edited March 2, 2004 by Tommy35

Ryan243 0
OK , I'm there. Do I adjust all the accuracy values down to reduce recoil effect or just recoil or both? If you only want to reduce recoil, just reduce the recoil. That's all it takes.

DOG-ZEBRA 0
no, i mean if you are ging to change the .gun file for the m249 or any file from the orgimiss folder, first make a mod folder in igor, then copy the the the file you want to change and paste it into your mod folder. now you can make as many changes as you want (experiments and screw-ups) and still have the games original file unaltered. its always a good idea to make your modifications this way.
