snared_gambit 0 Posted February 29, 2004 Share Posted February 29, 2004 Well, I've beat the game up to the Commander difficulty. On Ensign and LT, it's just run and gun. But, I've noticed that once you get to Commander, it becomes a lot more realistic, and forces you to think tactically. I spend almost thirty minutes on the first half of the first mission, just trying not to get shot. Anyone else like SOCOM 2? Quote Link to post Share on other sites

The missions are pretty easy once you beat them a few times.Brazil gets downright ridiculous on the higher difficulties when the RAFB soldiers snipe you with their uzi's and the very last mission is a piece of cake. Single player is pretty fun since it's more of a stealth and tactical approach while online is pure arcadish run'n'gun. For online play you need to be able to run'n'gun your ###### off. Glitchers & TKers ruin the game especially since you can't kick or ban them. Quote Link to post Share on other sites
