Quu
Are there any tricks to make something transparent or appear to be glass? I just leave it out because I can't figure out how to get the "glass" look to it. Are there any tut's for this?
GRT
apply a glass texture on it..and on the map editor check the see-through.Atleast thats you would do it for a map..its on the levelbuilder.pdf on the IT cd
San
Windows are transparent so you need an Alpha-Channel for the glass-texture. I suggest you open up the castle map and look at the windows there, as they are nice examples.
Chems
For vcls, you dont use the same mapping tagging (all though my DC3 I made does have a breakable window ) but simply make your window, and open up the RSE texture files, find iv_truck_window.rsb and apply and map this to your window. The alpha channel creats the see through effect and the texture will make it so it doesnt look like theres just nothing there. Good luck
