[TCS]BlackMamba 0
I am considering buying a decent spec g card I prefer ATI however i do not have endless amounts of cash. I am looking at the Sapphire and Connect 3D in the following formats: Radeon 9600Pro Radeon 9600XT I can afford both but i could really do with saving the differance between the 2. I would like to know if the differance between the Pro and the XT is substantial enough for the extra cost? Also is sapphire substantially better than connect 3D because the prices differ to this effect and again is the differance worth the extra money?
Dannik 43
ATI's Product Comparison chart for the entire 9600 series. This is for the reference boards, so 3rd parties may make alterations to the basic spec, but in general, the numbers on that chart are representative of all the card named, across manufacturers. NurFACE 0
http://www.ghostrecon.net/forums/index.php...ST&f=24&t=15688 ATI 9600XT is a faster card. The article above shows 9600XT fps results. http://apps.ati.com/ATIcompare/result.asp 9600XT has higher Pixel Fillrate and Geometry Rate with a faster clock. Radeon 9600Pro Radeon 9600XT
snakebite1967 0
if u can afford a 9600 xt then save a couple of pennies more and grab a 9800 non pro or a pro the price diference between a 9600 pro and xt isnt worth the small increase in gaming power IMHO
