DOG-ZEBRA 0
are looking for raw materials for your own mod, or intrested in playing a mod with that theme? Edited February 20, 2004 by DOG-ZEBRA
Dai-San 0
Hi m8, I'm just getting into modding and am currently doing a mission mod on the docks map. Chems has kindly given permission for me to use his SWAT skins for the player team and i'm after a skin/skins for use with the enemies. Basically i'm after a skin that looks like a business suit etc. The theme of the mission revolves around a business cartel importing drugs so I want to have enemies that are more corporate/organised crime looking rather than terrorist/army looking. All going well then I will hopefully expand it into a series of missions. Hope this clarifies what i'm after a bit better PS, Chems, new sig coming soon, this one looks horrible shrunk, want me to remove it altogether or it ok for a few days ? DOG-ZEBRA 0
you could try this, in I.T. the priego.chr wears a suit, its in the charecter/enemy folder. its a little tropical looking but could eaisly be modified to look more mafioso. I think what sounds best for your mod would be the enemy model form sum of all fears game. it wears dark suits and has about three or four suit skins. i got my copy for 5 bucks used! there are some restrictions surrounding that games use in GR modding and i don't know them all so ask around before you relase your mod (if you chose to use them). It should be o.k. though, i saw that suit character i am talking about used in frostbite.

Dai-San 0
********** Ignore this, I managed to figure it out ********** Hmmm, aint easy this Igor lark is it OK, so far I got Chems swat team for my Player characters (thanks again Chems) And Lexsis kindly sent me some men in suits. Here's the rub. These are the files i have. suit1.chr suit1_a.chr suit1_b.chr suit1.rsb suit1_face.rsb suit1_face_blink.rsb And then the same again for suit2. There are no actor files but I went into the IGOR actor editor and selected the files for the actor following the same guidlines as a standard GR character and saved it as a suits1.act file. When I swapped one of my normal actors for one of the new ones in IGOR and saved the mission, upon trying it in GR it crashes to desktop. Can anyone point me to where the above files should be saved etc and point out what I am doing wrong? Edited February 23, 2004 by Dai-San
lexsis 0
are you using the files I sent you? if you want, I can send it to you again as a 'mini-mod'
Dai-San 0
I am Lexsis, but no worries, I already got it sorted thanks
moakes2783 0
Buy the game the Sum of all Fears. It uses the exact same engine as GR and all the .chr's, .qob's and .pob's are 100% useable in GR right out of the box. There are like 10 different variations of enemy's wearing black suits. You can even put on attachments like sunglasses.
