DeathNova 0
I have come to love Ghost recon in the last week I have had it. Are the other Tom Clancy games worth getting? Raven Shield looks interesting. Any good?

KRP 56 92
Sum Of All Fears is a Clancy game that uses the GR game engine, plus I see the game selling for $5 to $7 dollars. Fun game great price you can't beat that. I've only got the demo of Raven Shield and I like it but I'll wait till it drops from it's $30 selling price before I take a chance on it. GR - DS - IT are still my best investments in any PC games!
ReconSnake 0
I love Ravenshield's predecessors, Rainbow 6 & Rogue Spear. I love Ghost Recon. Ravenshield on the other hand gets a big thumbs down from me Nova.
Deadpreacher 2
I love Ravenshield's predecessors, Rainbow 6 & Rogue Spear. I love Ghost Recon. Ravenshield on the other hand gets a big thumbs down from me Nova. Agreed!
subtle_force 0
It's good ,,, enough to stand on it's own..
WhiteKnight77 1
I won't go into my feelings on RvS (some would say I sound like a broken record as they have heard it all before), but while I have it (it came with my new sound card) I don't think it will grow on me as much to be able to say it's as good as GR or even the previous versions of R6. IMO Ubi really messed up when they released RvS. As stated by Zjj, Aggression (GR.net's sister site) is where all Rainbow Six related discussions and news is at. ghost gamer 0
Raven Shield is very good....awesome graphics...pretty good a.i., both friendly and enemy...if you are into detailed in depth planning....you got that here...as does all the Rainbow 6 series...runs pretty good...it runs very well on my Geforce Mx 420 64 mb...and my Radeon 9800 XT runs it like lighting...as it should.....weapons...what an awesome selection of weapons, both primary and secondary....one drawback....the objectives are repetitive...but...it just does not have the feel of GR.....can't put my finger on it...... Parabellum 12
I love Ravenshield's predecessors, Rainbow 6 & Rogue Spear. I love Ghost Recon. Ravenshield on the other hand gets a big thumbs down from me Nova. Ditto.
Sup 0
Reven shield is different from GR, a lot more than you'd expect. Still good, but different.
supasniper 0
it's nowhere near the first 2 R6 games in terms of game play, being on 56k i stopped downloading updates about the 1.3 time and also due to afformentioned net connection i'er never played it online either, thumbs down from me too
NYR_32 6
I only have RvS because I recieved an OEM version....doesn't match its predessors....I give it half a thumb up.....is that possible?
magnumkp 0
RsV is rubbish. Avoid it. It's not just hard, it's pointlessly hard. It might be fun in multiplayer but I've never had the chance. It's the only game in my collection I wish I hadn't bought.
Zantar45 0
I give it half a thumb up.....is that possible? Go play with some firecrackers... It was ok when I played it for a brief moment. Just hope when I get the PS2 version on the 16th it's good.
Sup 0
It won't be, I've played the xbox version (same gameplay). It's as if quake 3 help tom clancy hostage.
Sart 34
The console versions are dumbed down a lot unfortunately. Its a shame, it would be nice to see some more tac-games on the consoles. I do love the PC version however, people complain about bugs, but me and the guys I play with never get any, so go figure. I just wish they would get the SDK out... jeez. Dannik 43
I purchased RvS on the day of release. A few months later, I gave it away to someone I didn't like. Better karma that way.
snared_gambit 0
RvS just, isn't very good. At all. I didn't even bother completing the campaign.
Jack57 0
RsV is rubbish. Avoid it. It's not just hard, it's pointlessly hard. It might be fun in multiplayer but I've never had the chance. It's the only game in my collection I wish I hadn't bought. RavenShield is an absolutely awesome MP game. SP I can take or leave, but MP games simply rock. I think the bugs that most people have experienced (we're up to patch 1.53 ) turned a lot of people off. I can understand that - it's a pity though. I don't compare GR and RvS - both very different, both wonderful in thier own way.
budgie 1
I love Ravenshield's predecessors, Rainbow 6 & Rogue Spear. I love Ghost Recon. Ravenshield on the other hand gets a big thumbs down from me Nova. Word, dude. Rogue Spear owned me for two years (xmas1999 until xmass 2001).
