Dan 0
My computer has been playing up for a while now, and i think it was cos of the CD drive, i have one normal drive, and a burner. The normal one hasnt worked properly for a while, and every so often just goes beserk and locks everything up. I sent it to a repair shop, and they just said something about drivers or some bog, and i said i would deal with it (in other words: I dont intend to pay you for your useless insight). It stayed quiet for a while, then started up again. I managed to pry it open to remove my DS CD from in there (wondering where that went), and it kept on crapping itself. So i went into the device manager and removed it from the system. This helped for a while, but today it tried it for one last time. It shouldnt have. All i did was tear the cables out of the back, and rip off the side panel. I might point out that i have no idea about computer insides. Unplugged everything from the drive, pulled it out the front, and taped a peice of apaper over the hole it left. Now everything works fine Just thought id share my pride and joy
