mike schell's .chr converter

Recommended Posts

What was it supposed to have done? All of the .chr models have been converted to .3ds format and are currently available for download if thats what you are looking for. If that is the case, look for a guy named San at this forum and click on his sig, it will take you to his site and you can get the .chr models, some attachments, and some weapons all in .3ds format.

Yeah, the actual converter was never released for legal reasons.

Can you imagine what a converter would do to a CHR created by a modder? It's be nuts, the whole modding scene would basically die. No one would want to make anything.

The Hex editor will help with some things, but not all... so GL using it.
