Jack57 0
Now I've played the demo I'm pretty impressed. I get on much better with this one than the first one. I know a few people around here have played the whole game. Care to post your comments now you've finished the whole game?
ZJJ 74
Interesting that you post this now that the H&D 2 "expert" (aka NCM Nightmare) is offline for about a week. This topic is right up his alley.

Ruin 17
No... you get people angry when you diss CoD (and never stop), not for liking HD2.
cajun47 0
i just played h&d2 multiplayer demo for a 1/2 hr. or so. i like. im downloading the single player demo now. i have read reviews that said this game is very buggy. well they just released the third patch. so it should be alright by now i hope. i also find h&d2 much better than h&d. i think most ghost recon fans should atleast try the 2 h&d2 demos. i dont like the bunny hopping....i mean cod game either. Gordo_Viper 0
I quite enjoyed it (Full version), playing through the campaign again, nice weapons choice, buggy in parts, missons are longer than GR, some intense firefights, drivable vechiles. Environments are well done and if you like WWII get it for sure- nice variety of mission types and weaponry- all historically accurate. Jack57 0
I have played the SP Demo over and over which is a sure sign I'm onto a winner. I've yet to complete it on the hardest setting with all the team intact OSOK I'm bidding on a copy of the full game on eBay now so I may get lucky
KRP 56 92
Apparently, Illusion Softworks never heard George Santayana's famous phrase, "Those who do not learn from history are doomed to repeat it." In 1999, Hidden & Dangerous was released with serious problems like complicated menus and controls, bugs, and inane squad AI. Regrettably, those same problems have made the transition to this sequel, which is inexcusable given the four-year gap in both time and technology. Yes, the graphics are dazzling and the gameplay is somewhat more streamlined, but it's not enough to make up for the existence of the same old problems. This is a shame - had Illusion Softworks learned from their mistakes, HD2 could've been one of the top WWII games out there. Thought I might try the demo until I read this review. Now I don't know if I want to spend many hours downloading (56k) this.
MarkVanDamme 0
H&D never caused me much trouble with bugs. For it's faults, it remains extremely playable even today. Not even GR can touch it for atmosphere

Jack57 0
Does anyone know if it's possible for the player to kill the tank in the demo mission? I stuck 3 rockets in the sucker and not so much as a dent After I fired each one from an upstairs window I learnt pretty quickly it was a good idea to move - it usually wasn't long before a shell came hurtling in through it Cool stuff
TRC 0
Jack, in the first game, if I remember correctly, you needed to hit the tanks in the rear, have you tried that? Haven't tried the demo yet myself but will.
Jack57 0
Yeah that did the trick, thanks Still took three up the rectum to do the job (sure rectum, blew 'em to bits, as little Johnny would say ). I did find an extra rocket and Garand ammo in the bank which I hadn't seen before - that helped. Cheers, Jack
ghost gamer 0
ok, what gives....I am on the mission where you have to capture the general in the train tunnel...I have done that....I have killed everyone and taken the papers from the officer that was with the colonel....but it still won't complete...I have tried running out the far end of the tunnel, but you can't was you get slapped with a leaving the mission area message....I read somewhere you have to leave the area and something about a wagon....what do I have to do to get this to end?!
