strange and anoying problem

I have a very strange problem,

for some reason, I can choose the marines in multiplayer games and I see them in game yet when I view the recorded game, they are no longer marines, they appear as RS_North characters !?!?!?

how did this happen? I completly uninstalled and reinstalled GR 3 times and this does not fix the problem.

the next problem, marines demo character doesnt look right. the large pocket thats supposed to be attached to his left leg is not there, instead theres just the texure for it (it appears flat, not 3D) and the knee pads are also flat.

I noticed that when I had the 1.3 patch the following line appeard in the actor file for demo platoon 4:

<LeftThighAttachmentJungleLOD>att_cuba_alied_demo.qob</LeftThighAttachmentJungleLOD>

after applying patch 1.4 that line is no longer there. I added it manually and now I have the large pocket attched, but its attached to the inner leg, not outter, so he has this large 'bag' hanging between his legs.

there are no other mods running, just DS & IT.

I even ran a virus scan and still dont know what the hell is wrong.

sorry lexis but had to laugh at the metal image I got with the bag as you put it on the inside leg.

I think maybe that ghost had a folie
