When the mods are activated, are the uniform changes automatically updated, or is there something you have to do to change them? In addition, is there a way to pick and choose what each element of the game is wearing, for instance can my team be in one camo and another choosed a camo of their liking?

Usually. Sometimes you have to quit and restart the program for the new uniforms to show up. It's a good idea to do that anyway, just to make sure.

I'm not quite sure what you're asking here (opposing multiplayer teams, different single player fire teams, something else?), but I think the answer is no.
