SOTOMac 0
Make sure that Your Ubi Launch Icon is attached to a File called gs4.exe ( IIRC ). You can right-click the Launch Icon and go to Properties to check this. Additionally - Ubi wants You to select the Connection that You're running on as well before It'll let You connect to a Server. This Option is available to select in the Ubi Buddy Service under Options ( Again - IIRC ). I may be wrong and I'm not at a PC that I can check It for You. That said - If this Info is incorrect I will be able to get You the right Info in the Morning when I get Home ( Shhhh... ) Sincerely,

WhiteKnight77 1
One other thing we need to know, what kind of connection do you have, are you behind a router. Do you have any kind of firewall active be it ZoneAlarm, Black Ice etc.? What operating system do you have? If XP have you disabled the built in firewall?
DarkHawk 0
SOTOmac- the ubi.com launch icon is connect to the file "C:\Program Files\ubi.com\Core\GS4.exe" and i can't find the option to select my connection(im running DSL) WhiteKnight- I have XP and ZoneAlarm but i've tried playing with it disabled(didn't help)...and no i haven't disabled the windows xp- built in firewall
WhiteKnight77 1
Disable the built in firewall and restart ZoneAlarm. You will have to give Ubi.com permission to access the internet and allow a server.
DarkHawk 0
how do you disable the built in firewall?
WhiteKnight77 1
Go into network connections and select the NIC that your internet connection is on. Go to properties (this should be right, I use Win2k and don't have a built in firewall) and uncheck the firewall box.

SOTOMac 0
Dang - I knew I forgot to do something... I'll get on the Ubi.com Service when I get Home in the Morning and give You a detailed way of setting this Option on the Ubi.com Game Service for "GR". My apologies for not getting this done when I'd said I would. Sincerely,
