Just curious, how'd you come up with that data? I've been too lazy to calculate all the values.

EDIT -

I don't care too much for the Barrett upper. The 2nd generation PRI upper is cooler.

I setup a filemaker pro database with your formulas, and just plug in muzzle velocity, velocity at 100 meters, and bullet grain (and barrel length if necessary). the db does the rest instantly. I've got lots and lots of different calibers in my db, that I use for plugging values into my homebrew mod, that I call "Caliber." It's amazing how well the theoretical values match what one would expect in game. of course, you run into the issue of terminal ballistics, because the game's engine can't take that into account. so the .223 really becomes a varmint hunter, but that just makes my mod more interesting. I play it single player and with my LAN buddies, but would never release it because I've borrowed every model, texture, and sound in it from other mods. It's a continual work in progress and gets updated every time a new weapons mod comes out with something that might find a unique place in my collection.

It's funny that you mention the .223 round being a 'varmint hunter', because that's actually what it is. It's commonly used to hunt small animals, and is generally not acceptable for hunting large animals like deer, because it is not reliable to kill them.

You can buy the PRI upper to fit just about any AR-15 clone out there. I don't know about the Barrett upper, though.

EDIT - There are a few shots where you can see guys loading bullets into the mags, which leads me to believe that the guns in the desert pictures are real. The fatbody's holding the guns are stages, though, I think. There's one in particular where the fat kid is holding a UMP, and you can see that the mag is empty.
