To perhaps appease to chems

On the HK53, the top is a continuation of the receiver and bolt tubes on top of the actual barrel. That top tube is not covered by the foregrip and should be progressively narrower as it reached the front of the weapon, as well as narrower than the foregrip itself. Other than that, you've got a great model there.

That's what I get for cutting up an image into pieces and trying to fit it back together after getting rid of the background. :wall: I'll fix that.

The aimpoint and mount on your texture are way too big mate!!

Really? I personally thought it was too small. Well, you know better of course. I'll fix that too. When I get some time. Stupid school :(

And I already fixed the problem on the foregrip.

Progress so far. Gas tube on top with the bolt is a bit blurry, and Im hoping to fix that later. Texture looks a lot lighter then it is, cause I made it a forced wireframe overlay of a regular render. Just for giggles. The texutre is above is how dark it is.

I like it also like the wire frame thing, diggin this model! Just as a snipet of information, the British Royal Marines can have either the SA80 or this, apperently most choose this. Its also the top fav of the SBS as well. Apperently.

ummm...looking at that pic I'd say there only are 2 HK53's in it. The bottom one looks like a HK51 to me. Just compare the mag and the bolts holding the stock to the reciever between the upper 2 and the bottom one.

Guess it could also be a cut down G3K model but that's not as likely as it being a HK51 rifle.

The top two are HK53's the bottom one is a HK51.

I'm with CK on the use of 53's by the Marines. The only Brit military that are regular users are the Military police close protection teams.
