I've had my Ti4400 for over a year now, and I think it's time to move on. I'm looking at the Radeon 9800 series (Pro, not XT) and the nVidia 5900 series (Ultra and what not). I'd like to keep the price under $300. If your using one of the two cards mentioned, feel free to post the pros and cons of it. Also, if anyone knows where to find benchmarks comparing the two, that would be nice.

hands down id have to say the built by ATi 9800 pro 128 ddr is the best bang for the buck, its cheaper than the high end nvidia card and scores higher in the majority of benchmarks.

it has better dx9 support and handles AA and AF much better, the image quality is also a tad better than the high end nvidia cards with a quieter cooling solution.

running max detail with shadows on and still seeing over 200 fps GR ahs never looked better

@Crimson

If money is not an object per se, as it seems to be in this case, I would go with the 9800 based on Snakebite's recommendation.

For me I am very happy with my Nvidia 5200FX. My problem is now my system is holding my card back.
