I thought it was hilarious that a SMG with a 25 round mag pumped out dozens of rounds and sounded like an M60. That's sound design for you. It doesn't have to correspond with reality. It would be a pain to shoot this firearm from a prone position. The magazine of a UMP is long because the rounds are single stacked and not staggered like many modern semi-automatics I think. Remember in the first matrix when mouse said, "how we know what tasty wheat tasted like? Maybe what we think is tasty wheat actually tastes like chicken, or tunafish." The machines messed up when they coded the UMP into the matrix. You might be able to tell I love the matrix.
