beaglefish 0
I recently built a new computer with a Gigabyte 8KNXP motherboard. When I play multiplayer Ghost Recon missions, I seem to have "bionic" hearing. If I cap a guy at 300 meters, I can hear him groan as he dies as clearly as if he were right in front of me. It's pretty neat, but gets to be annoying. Any suggestions?
Specter 0
Go to Start, Run, and type in dxdiag. Hit enter. Go to the sound tab. Turn Hardware Acceleration all the way down. This should handle most of that, although there are a few minor glitches that this won't take care of.
beaglefish 0
Thanks much. You were exactly right. Next question. When I decelerate the sound, other games (Need for Speed Underground) are affected negatively. Is there any way to tune DirectX for individual games? Thanks again.
