budgie Posted January 11, 2004 Share Posted January 11, 2004 Trying to change vehicle colors here and I would dearly like to get into Color Table while I have an open rsb file. I got in this morning but don't remember how. Now I open the RSB photshop plugin, open the texture file I want, go to Image, Mode and Color Table is there but unavailable. budgie Posted January 12, 2004 Author Share Posted January 12, 2004 I've used color balance to adjust tones for some maps, but here I want to change a camoflage pattern on a vehicle into a single color scheme. I don't see how the color balance can help me, but maybe I haven't looked at it the right way. The other two suggestions haven't worked (sorry guys). The Color Table is still locked. Sarc Posted January 12, 2004 Share Posted January 12, 2004 Photoshop has a Replace Color function under Images/Adjustments that should work quite well for altering color. If it's a specific area you want to change, select it then use Replace Color. Use the eyedropper to pick the color you want to alter. Use the eyedropper with the plus sign to select multiple colors. Sarc Posted January 24, 2004 Share Posted January 24, 2004 I looked up how to access the colour table. You have to index the colours. So go to Image/Mode/Indexed. However, a colour table seems to be used only for GIFs since they're restricted to 256 colours.
