Computer Model: HP Pavillion that had ME but now has XP

Every time I try to open GR, a little whit square appears in the center of my desktop and nothing happens. :wall: I got the Island Thunder Mission Pack last year for christmas.... and didn't get the real game till yesterday. Sombody please help

Ghost requires 16MB of video memory in order to run. According to Intel, the 810 family can provide a maximum of 12 MB video RAM.

I would definitely open your machine, check for an AGP port, and buy a new video card. 64 MB AGP vid cards and even some 128's can be gotten now for as little as $40-80 (that's Canadian, for US $ you'll have to do your own math =)

i ran GR on a 566 cpu and 82810 graphics controller so it may not be that. make sure that your resolution is not too high. also try running at 16 bit colour with no progs in the background. and you can still run a good graphics card in one of the PCI slots

may be. GR would only run for me if i had the res at 600x800 with 16 bit high colour. if i ran 24 bit colour, would not load. any who, some one in here should be able to fix it
