Crimson 0
This is starting to bug me. Out of no where, my computer started having two problems. One of them was, I would click Start | Turn Off Computer | Shut Down, but then my computer restarted. Hopefully this is common problem. (Not holding my breathe.) The other problem is that when I turn on my computer, I see the computer running through the POST, but after that, my monitor will remain blank; pure black, as if it were off. It takes a few times to get the picture up. Could my monitor be going? (I'll try using my monitor on another computer to make sure it's not the graphics card.) Any help on my issues is greatly appreciated.
[WOLF]FinalStand 0
Not sure about the monitor thingy but you are going at it the right way. As for the restart Try these links..........you didnt say what OS your running so this one is for XP And this one is for 98 Ive also heard that a power supply thats about to go can cause the same symtom
Crimson 0
Doh, I have XP Home. Anyways, my system restarting by clicking Shut Down has not been fixed. If it's the PSU, that would be rather unfortunate, because my Antec PS is less than six months old.

Crimson 0
Graphics drivers were causing the shut down error? Yeah. Actually, a day after I fixed the problem, it came back. After that it's been good. Computers are wonderful.
