The m4 has been done its been done to death im sick of coming in here to find more m4 every time. What wrong with the G36? Or some sniper rifles something a bit of a challenge?? I believe that there are a few reasons that there are so many m4s. 1 - They're a fairly simple weapon to make 2 - There's many good pics of them out there 3 - It's a tradition So, get used to it Chems, there will be many more M4s in the times to come. It's just a visual aid to give you something to say "I shot this guy with this gun." I'm personally not tired of M4's. I'm tired of crappy M4's, but I like the basic weapon when it's done well. You notice that those complaining are brits. They're just tired of seeing the SA-80 and the sub standard british weapons taking the backburner to the enormously popular (and infinetely cooler) M4s and M16s. Don't see many SA-80s decked out in a SOPMOD conversion, with all the cool sighting systems and stuff. I'd like to see some support guns like a good M60 and different versions of tango weapons like the AK series. I just started modelling and i'm trying to make some rare weapons that aren't in many mods yet. If you can dig up my old thread i think i have a pic my my sl8 in there. Every modder brings his/her own unique touch to the weapon. As Snared Gambit said, it's a good beginner model, it's got great reference pics, and it's tradition. That's like always someone's second weapon. So, if you don't like that, deal with it. At least people are trying their best and doing their best. Kudos to those of you who do a bang up job on my favorite weapon. Again, if you don't like it... well, that's a personal problem.
