This is special that just started being printed in the December 2003 issue. Apparantle our friends at Valve/Vivendi have run into more troubles. HALF-LIFE 2 HITS THE NET! hackers steal half-life 2 code from Valve. Playable code leaked online Ill give you the main basis of it. Apparently, we all know they have had numerous blows and hacks and viruses let loose into their systems. But it wasn't found out untillabout a week ago that, A PLAYABLE FULL VERSION CODE WAS RELEASED ONTO THE NET! apparently hackers have stolen enough to produce a good portion of the game. And it has been found at many forum sites being distributed for free all over. Truly is a sad day. Valve releasedthese few statements. "On Tuesday October 8th, a playable version of HL2 leaked" "We had built up all this secrecy around HL2, and its all benn blown" "The third leak came as a surprise to us" and apparently, there is only a 75 percent chance the game will come out even.but that is speculation Edited December 29, 2003 by STU_Snake Quote Link to post Share on other sites

I am sure they will end up releasing the game when they can.....the possible revenue from HL2 is incredible. Look how many years HL/HL mods have been played online. What is news in October will mean a December article in any rag. Now this only holds true for a monthly magazine and not weekly. In that case the news is still a week old.
