rage451 0
1st-off, DTD - No Easy day looks fantastic. I downloaded it as fast as i could and installed it on a fresh install of Ghost Recon, on a fresh install of Windows XP Pro. I've been playing GR for quite some time with my friends using the Baja Bravo mod, and the the HX Red Sun mod with no problems. Anyway, with DTD-NED v1.0 i got a crashed to desktop error at different points of the setup screen. Sometimes when i was browsing kits, sometimes when browsing soldiers, other times when setting up the server. (I only play multiplayer, I usually host for a few of my friends...) v1.2 patch was released and installed, same problem. v1.3 patch was released and installed, same problem. I remember reading somewhere there is a log file that GR creates when it crashes. If someone could point me in the right direction, i could post the details. Has anyone been able to play this mod yet? It looks fantastic, but 2 patches later, and i am still unable to launch a game with the mod started. Troubleshooting i have done already: 1. Reinstalled GR fresh (Including DS and IT expansions), patched up to 1.4 2. Installed DTD-NED. 3. Did not install anyother mods. 4. Install DTD-NED 1.2 patch. 5. Installed DTD-NED 1.3 patch. 6. Made sure i had the most up to date vid-drivers for my Nvidia Geforce4. I should note lots of rebooting was done during this process. If anyone could help me get this mod working i would appreciate it a lot. And Merry Christmas to everyone!
BlkScorp 0
FYI i had the same problem. with the addition of when it CTD i was unable to play GR at all. Had to do a clean install. and it has greatly raised my leariness of DLing MODDS. I did get to play DTD-No easy day a couple times before losing GR totally. It was a great Modd but lost intrest when it crashed my GR..
rage451 0
After the CTD, GR loads up fine and is playable without DTD-NED activated of course. I am not sure if this is going to complicate things, but i did install: HX5.0_drag alphasquadgridmaps fng_drx_map_pack_v4
WhiteKnight77 1
Some weapons/map pack mods don't play well with other weapons mods. Try using just the one mod (and DS/IT if required by the mod) and see what happens.
rage451 0
Sorry, i might be confusing the issue. I installed those additional mods after giving up on DTD-NED. My crew wanted to play, and wouldn't wait for me to figure out this "new" mod, when the "old" mods worked fine for them. When i activate DTD-NED, it's the only mod running, all i have is DS, IS, and NED. Isn't there somesort of log file that GR generates when it crashes? I thought i saw someone mention it before in another thread.
WhiteKnight77 1
Yes there is an IkeLog and an IkeCrashLog in .txt format in the main GR folder. Pasting it here can help others sort your troubles out if ya decide ya wanna try the mod again.

It's possible i installed a patch to the wrong directory. I will reinstall the mod and let you know if it makes any difference. Thanks for your help!
rage451 0
As suspected, the problem was between the keyboard and the chair. When i unrared the 2nd patch, i placed it in the wrong folder. Once i looked into my mod folder i saw it right away. I placed it in the right spot, and bam, DTD-NED worked perfect. Sorry for wasting your time, but thank you for your fast replies and your help. I guess i must of enjoyed too many of those eggnog and rums this morning. Cheers and Merry Christmas!
