Xian Saint 0
Interesting... NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) - As computer programmer Shane Messer watched U.S. forces look for weapons of mass destruction in Iraq, the search struck him as a perverse sort of treasure hunt. Messer has always been obsessed with puzzles, riddles and games, and he decided he wanted to join the hunt - if only in an imaginary, computer-geeky kind of way. So he created an international treasure hunt called "Find Those Weapons: The Hunt for the Real WMD" by using actual public documents related to the American invasion as clues. Messer's treasure? A solid gold trophy, a bag of cash and a barrel of oil. The link: http://apnews.excite.com/article/20031217/.../D7VG8E3G2.html
Rocky 1,224
Hmmmm. I believe David Blaines buried treasure alluded to in his book exists... but.... I'm not so sure about WMD... What is the consensus now about the WMD anyway? From my non-clued-up position, I'd guess their aren't any in Iraq, perhaps some bio weapons somewhere, but WMD, not so sure. Oh, this is in the PC Games forum.... oh well if it develops into a WMD thread we can always move it Edited December 18, 2003 by Rocky
