Syncopator Posted December 17, 2003 Share Posted December 17, 2003 This is aimed at any of you regs that bear the 2nd love (after GR of course!) of music production - at any level - specifically on an electronica/techno tip (no - not what u call techno Nightmare - thats just commercial trash dance ) Ive been back in the mood for first time in about a year and need some inspiration...got some semi-lousy ideas down on a track and not sure where to go next...would be happy to chuck the audio loops at whoever wants to have tinker and see what comes up..? Would just be nice to see what collaborative efforts GRNET could provide? lol! As I say this is aimed at the usual suspects (ie - u Havok!!)....anyone care to gimme shout - I could use the fresh input. Thank ya... I'll probably be putting in my track, "The Beginning" and maybe a few others too like my "Shadow of Memories" and maybe even my "Elysium"....although, I been told that if I put the bangin techno in, no-one will d/l the mod....oh well. Dude whhat I call techno is bangin techno, not commercial trash dance. I listen to/write hardhouse, hard trance, hardcore etc stuff. Hardhouse is "bangin" techno.... I myself haven't been in the inspirational mood for a while..sounds like a good resolution for the New Year !! If Santa thinks I have been good this year I may get a toy or two under the tree ( synth would be nice ..don't think I have been that good tho ). Was in Steve's Music the other day and saw those Xmix loops for 39$. Let me get Sonar up and running next week and dig all my old discs out. WytchDokta Posted December 18, 2003 Share Posted December 18, 2003 @ Magnun, easy.....just find a bangin drum loop somewhere. Loop it for the duration of the track. Throw it a hihat and some claps and then put in a here and there..... Not as easy at that though, as the samples have to be looped in 1's, 2's, 4's, 8's segments. Otherwise it don't sound right....
