I know I get the problem when I don't move a texture into the folder I use for the lighting tool. Haven't had the white blocks anywhere but the lighting tool though. furry 0 Posted December 16, 2003 Author Share Posted December 16, 2003 (edited) im using mike's map tutorial where you two rooms and them use the m01 caves environment. everyoen works great but i get white rooms..ive even added some quite textures to it...ill try switchin the texture folder on output. well ive tried the above and it didnt help...still only get white boxes...i DONT get any rsb files tho when i export my map....could this be my problem? hartog 0 Posted December 16, 2003 Share Posted December 16, 2003 it is best to make an RSB file in photoshop before you put them on as textures. due to the fact that RSBs have to be sized to a mulitiple of 2. like 16,32,64,128,256,512,1041. if you texture with a bmp or jpg first and then make it into a rsb you could end up with some texture mapping issues.
