Matt03 0
If you could find a way to teleport the effect the first time that would be a miracle. Sorry you can't teleport effects. Edited December 14, 2003 by Matt03
harntrox 0
this is done in hx5. basically its a tiny, invisible, destroyed vehicle with whatever persistent effects you want (fire , smoke etc) that appear to follow the character or vehicle you teleport it to. =FC=Harntrox member of =DRAG= modworks
CME4WHOIAM 0
I want to have a begining cinema that has a guy driving a humvee and i want it to have it look like you are that guy and are driving the humvee. If i have the camera view at the driver or humvee it is blow the ground and doesnt follow the path. Is there away to change that with out using effects. why cant u teleport effects? when u do the teleport script it list all the effects u have.

Jack57 0
If i have the camera view at the driver or humvee it is below the ground and doesnt follow the path. Is there away to change that with out using effects. No not really. There is no 'fly camera' function available to us as with UnrealEd for example. why cant u teleport effects? when u do the teleport script it list all the effects u have.Effect aren't really objects, just locators, so I guess that's why you can't place them dynamically. Igor2 perhaps If you wanted to place the camera a location that you won't know until runtime, then it is possible to teleport a hidden blackhawk to another moving vehicle\actor and place the camera at that location after a second or two has elapsed (so the camera view won't be inside the object).
