furry 0
You now have all the necessary elements to create a mission for your new map. To create a new mission for your map: 1. Select "New" under the file menu 2. Hit cancel when asked to select a "Mission Template" 3. Click the "Select" button next to "Environment" and navigate to the ENV file you created in the last section. 4. Click Ok. Your map should now be loaded into IGOR. Now we will create an insertion zone: when i click ok igor just crashes... id like to attach my max file but not sure how. if you send an email to jaimef AT dejazzd DOT COM ill send you the file to take a look at. Thanks for your help.
Biro 0
Have you added -buildbinary in your Igor shortcut? Did you group all your meshes as _01? Do you have a correct set up roomlist?
furry 0
yes..ive even double checked that
H-Hour 0
Is there a .SHT file in your map folder? It should be generated at some point. Sometimes it's not generated and Igor will crash. Often times I have to do it two or three times to get it to generate. Other basics to check: Any content used has it's mod activated in igor You're creating a new ENV file every time you change the map (not positive if this is necessary, but I think it is) Does your map load in the lighting tool? Biro 0
Do you have a .SHT file created? If you have, delete this, and start up Igor AFTER you have done it. Load in your map now.
sleeper 0
The normal problem here is that after you create a new .env for your new map you need to close IGOR and then open it up again.

Joel 0
alway remeber 1.Make shere that u have a scenecenter 2.Make shere u have a shermanlevelheight1.0 3.Make shere that your room is grouped right 4.In Igor your must frist go to <file><Mods> and pick the mod that your new map is in.NOTE if u go in and out of the file alot found it easyer to turn the mod on that has the new map in the folder, then u will skip this 5.1. Select "New" under the file menu 2. Hit cancel when asked to select a "Mission Template" 3. Click the "Select" button next to "Environment" and navigate to the ENV file you created in the last section. 4. Click Ok. 6. igor will crash the frist time u try to load a new map.when it does load igor back up and do step 4 again. then your map will load ,how fast depends how big and how fast your pc is. also a good tool to help u is smart tools that u can get at Javaman Good Luck with the map makeing Edited January 7, 2004 by Joel
