I'm frankly tired of this, because any SPEC OPS instructor will tell you that the best kill is a quick and quiet one. This is strictly for those who play by the creed "One shot, one kill". I'd like to start hearing some real snipers tell their stories, rather than the rambos-come snipers who can't shoot to save their lives. CME4WHOIAM Posted December 10, 2003 Share Posted December 10, 2003 hmm lets see multi player Not online one by my self with sa25 sd and m9 sd i beat battlefied on elite firefight with out an enmy firing at me multiplayer online caves ham hill m82 barret i was at the hill in the woods part camofulage the people went to the big hill to look down. BOOM!! a explstion to the right of me at the smoke. i am fire 1 shot one kill. a guy comes over the ridge of the hill aim fire 1 shot 1 kill. Well i had 10 kills there. Than it said i wasnt king any more i turn and about 10 feet away from me is an enemy tango prone in the smoke. I turn to him switch to my pistol and a head shot. Sadly on that mission i had 89% acc. most i have ever had was 29 kills sniping on that map long range best kill would be about 150 meters guy running. close range about 2-3 inches away from the muzzle of the gun. Matt03 Posted December 11, 2003 Share Posted December 11, 2003 I like using the M82 from Navy Seals 2.0 to take out some trucks. To bad there ain't a convoy ambush to use it on. The best thing about sniping is when the enemy is on patrol about 10 feet away. There ain't to many missions that do this but I have played a few. It really gets you heart pumping. I think someone should make a map like a bombed out city and then that way someone could create a snipers paradise. It would be nice to have something like Enemy at the Gates. SaRaK Posted December 11, 2003 Share Posted December 11, 2003 I now use the sig 550 as my standard rifle good enough scope, 30 rounds mag and burst fire mode. i just love it on stone bell when im on the cliff near where the un guys are just sniping away at the enemy till they realise then i take out a grenade and hope to hell i get it the right distance and take out one or 2 more before going in close combat for the rest of em. Somtimes i have to plant demo charges at designated areas in order to destroy them. I think it's really fun. I can usually rack up quite a few kills when i go as a demo guy. Once in a while I do go as a rifleman too. I do pretty well at that as well. I get more kills as a demo guy though. I set my M4 to single shot and go "sniper-like" but sometimes i unload a whole clip into them just to add insult to injury. I love those demo guns! I love those demo guns! When I'm sniping I usually use the M82 Barrett (I love it's range and I have every mission set up so that they're fogless, so I can get some nice long shots). Sometimes I use the SR25 SD. I never liked the M4 that came with the game, but some of the ones in mods are good. But now we're getting again. You just have to have a lot of luck with the deflections. I did this with the ol M-24 one day. It was great. I think that the M-24 is one of the better sniper rifles because of its quick pips and the zoom isn't too big so you are able to accuire targets without searching an entire area because the tango keeps getting lost because he is moving. I messaure with my trusty binco and some times i need to messaure the distance from a tree or a rock run to it and take a messuare from there. on some maps i have trobles seeing in the day and if use nightvision it will help some (on some maps with fog) but 300 meters i dont think so. i mean the longest (recorded sniper shot by me was 158.8 m he was like just a shadow in my scope no detail. my longest record grenade launcher hit (or miss but killed someone with blast radius) was about 174 meters Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Stout Hearts =UE=Warhawk i wasnt doubting it im just a beginer sniper. So i was intrested The tango must of had like no armour on and 1 for endurence i or she is just very good.
