CME4WHOIAM Posted December 5, 2003 Share Posted December 5, 2003 I was playing a game on day docks and it was clan vs (not my clan) i run to a box part i peak the cornor i walk back to throw a nade to me and an enemy nade expolded in the air above me a bit and killed me. That happened to me 3 times in a game (i think it was a cheat)6 artillary aim fire it was clan (my clan) vs all others. I had OWIC with nades for the fun of it i did a noobish thing and got killed. I respawned and in a fit of anger i switched weapons to the nades aimed up and shot them all over full map. my dad called i looked away and i looked back and there where some chose words on my screen. I look up and i read OsM_Cell has eliminated OsM_Midget. SaRaK Posted December 6, 2003 Share Posted December 6, 2003 most of my nade storys include window sills window tops low roofs and other assorted stuff. but this one i found funny, im on embassy (yes i play alot of this map) and i sneak to rear of bank i have taken out most of the occupant from sniping, rocket and simple gunnin em down shooting. so i know there 3 left inside one at rear entrance (hahahaha) and 2 on balcony inside so i get to door take out door with a nade then a tango pops up and starts firing at me we i duck so my ai buddys duck i get another grenade and try to throw it over truck, try being the optimine word some glitch made it appear to go over and then not so down it come i look at it and start to run but because of the stupidity of looking down i died course then i just came back with beta and fired a at rocket just to edge of door and killed him. STU_Snake Posted December 6, 2003 Share Posted December 6, 2003 well, aint that a pain in the ass, had an almost similar event happen to be on Stone Bell, I went to nade a guy by bouncing one of the wall into one room he was in. I accidentilly threw it real short, then as stupid as the AI on my team was, I'm running like hell, and then they just stand there and get the crap blown out of em................ I was playing day docks with a clan memeber of mine solo 1 vs 1. The TI was at red no yellow. i switch to nade launcher shot one infront of me at an angle to get him around the cornor nothign hit. I turned around snd i see him side step i shot and hit him square in the chest killing him and me. Sadly it was my last life and he still had a spawn left. MBC close shot on mbc in the alley near the garage i went prone and peaked around the cornor an enemy was coming and i shot with a nade launcher (i didnt know i had it on) I sent hiom flying back and didnt get injured. No reaction to a grenade on mbc i was near the ally next to the garge a enemy side steped out and i was about to throw a nade in the alley and i hit him in the head with it. The nade fell to the ground and he shot the stuffing out of me. They group up (in 3's and 5's) and someone tosses one nade then wipes'em all out. Case in point, played on the Embassy awhile back and a group of my teammates ran into the alley and someone fragged then all with one 40mm then after they respawn they go right back and get fragged by the same guy (reminds me of a moth to a flame). I don't care for getting killed by the enemy so as the last resort I blow myself up, well on the MP Docks map I was trapped behind some crates and taking fire from multiple angles. I dropped a nade with intentions of killing myself and as soon as I drop it one of the enemies rush me. So I run the other way around the crate and the guy got blown up by my ''bitter pill' I dropped . MovingUnit:SOG Posted January 26, 2004 Share Posted January 26, 2004 A nice lil' trick for the Embassy map is, if there are any enemy on the roof top of the embassy, just toss a nade straight up in the air when you are on the ground by the steps, and the nade should explode in the air to take out the enemy target(s). On the other side of the crate there was the guys buddy who I surprised and emptied my MP5/10mm into his face. ya the AI react a lil' wierd when a nade drops, even when they aren't really gonna be affected by it. I click on the Ubi Launch Icon and I go to Ubi. I get in a Good Game with a Server that I've played on many times since. As I get in the SOP is that We need an AT. I gear up with the HE and We Launch. I'm runnin' My ###### off to a Left Side Corner to get an AT Shot off at a Piece of Armor comin' in at Us. I get there - Get Set - Squeeze the Trigger - The AT Bucks as the round fires out the end of the Tube and slams RIGHT INTO THE WALL BESIDES Me - BLAAAMMMM... - Shoulda been a Lefty instead of a Righty - DOH... >-< Heres another but Its from the Older Days of "RS/UO/COE". Reco ( A TeamMate/Buddy of Mine ) and I are on the Castle Map. We're downstairs in the Cellars that Lead up to the Keep in the Middle of the Map in the Castle's Courtyard. We're standing behind the Generator that You get to once You've unlocked the Metal Cellar door and moved into the room. There are 3 Tangos on Patrol about 20 meters from us on the other side of the Generator. Reco says to Me... Lets Assault Mac. I say... Roger that - Let Me get a Nade out We'll Hammer 'Em with 1 and then Assault those Who're left standing - Copy ? Reco says... Roger that. Now I'm thinking... I don't want to chance having a collision with the Generator when I chuck this Nade. Hes ( Reco ) gonna wait until I get one off anyways and then We're gonna Assault. Cool - I'll chuck this Baby and get Ready to Book on 'Em. It'll go off and then We'll have the Straglers - If any - As easy pickens. I step out and wind up with the Nade. That said - Reco steps right in front of Me as I'm half way through My arc and the Nade goes... BOINK Right off the back of His K-Pot and clunk. Right between Us. Stalker Posted February 3, 2004 Share Posted February 3, 2004 (edited) MBC: 5vs5 I was on team red and ran into the alley to cover the enrty at the bank.... for safety reasons i threw a nade from the stairs around the corner... and BUUMMM I killed all 5 enemies.. not a good tactic... Wilderness: 30 seconds after start I shot 2 nades from my OICW/GL in the air.... and killed to guys from more that 150m ....... Polling Center nearly the same as the mbc nade: 9vs10 I was on team blue and ran a bit south..... I switched to my nades and threw 1 over the polling center--------> 7 kills!!!!! I was snipeing he was the gernader so while I was shoot'n the guys from afar he was supposed to cover my back. well he gets this BIG IDEA that he will roll the gernades off the edge of the MBC wall and have them fall down directly below killing anyone who tries to get near the stairs. well Im at the wall shooting away when I get this on coms (Jester) oops I said (Brass) oops what do ya mean oops looking up I see on the ledge a foot from my face, here was his opps. In the panicked mad dash of trying to stand and run Like H..E..double hocky sticks my nooB fingers hit the laydow button instead of standing up. about that time the nade blew to smitherines. When the smoke cleared I was still laying down unhurt and my fried was dead. The nade had apearently been too high above me and so the wall ledge saved my camo from being a shrapnel pin cushion. I dont know what the moral of the story is but dumb luck is better than no luck. Brass Oh I lied I have a few more Our clan The Alamo Gunfighters take pride in perfecting our skills. But sometimes even we cant believe the stupidity of our actions. Our clan was playing a team last man game against thankfully our other clan members. When my brother pops in (SKIP009) and we all anouce our weapons of choice. he gleefully yells he has an OICW GL. (Brass) Great! we need nades we popin and our clan's M O is to drop a sensor at base for the spawn campers out there GRRRRRRRRRRR. well I hear on coms (Skip009) laying a sensor! BOOM I think it was the fastest last man game I've ever seen. none of my team made it 3 steps. at the aftermath we have dubed a new name for a squad in our clan known only as the Friendly Fire Boys. (and yes you guessed it Skips the president) My last story is just kind of funny thing of GOOD STRATAGIES GONE WRONG we are on the ds beach map and we are getting slaughtered so we decide to dday it up the right hand choke point above the tents. figureing once we can get a foot hold we could take back the lead. when my buddy came up with this advice. (Targetme) Ok guys if weeee CRESSSSST the HILL at the SAME TIME he cant get us both. I dont know about anyone else but there was a flaw in that logic. couldn't quite figure it out though in the heat of the moment what it was. I remebered when the oicw took out my squad. and then nuked me a second later. Thats right it was GOOD STRATAGIES GONE WRONG. but to give targetme credit we did kill the guy but not untill we all got zapped. 1 shot 1 kill 4 deaths anyways I still laugh at the rememberable gr moments Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
