deleyt 0
Here's another fine example of a Paypal-scam I received today: Dear PayPal member #xxxxxxxx! It has come to our attention that your account may used by third party in a fraudulent activity with PayPal. As a result, your access to your account on PayPal has been restricted. According to our site policy you will have to confirm that you are the real owner of the PayPal account by entering your credit / debit card information. Please click on the link below to get to the PayPal secure page and complete the form that will appears. Thank you. http://paypal.com/us/cgi-bin/webscr?cmd=_U...dateInformation Read our Privacy Policy and User Agreement if you have any questions. Copyright 1999-2003 PayPal. All rights reserved. You can identify those fake messages by roling over the link and looking at where it's taking you. In this case it hooks up with http://paypal.comindexloginhtmladsfasdhjkq...54/1/index.html which is clearly NOT a PayPal site. There are a couple of other variations roaming around aswell, so be carefull not to fall for them. DON'T EVER ENTER YOUR BANKACCOUNT- OR CARDINFORMATION THROUGH EMAILS. ALWAYS GO TO THE ORIGINAL WEBSITE AND TAKE CARE OF YOUR BUSINESS THERE. IF YOU'RE NOT SURE IF THE MESSAGE IS LEGIT, REPORT IT AT THE SUPPORT-TEAM OF THE COMPANY.
