Quu 0
Can someone tell me how to capture screenshots w/max4? I'd like to show a few pics of my first weapon but I can't figure that crap out.
GRT 0
No question is dumb..but to take a ss just click what view you want then press Shift+R or F10 or up top where it says Rendering click that and then click render a screen will come up and click the bottom tha says render. To change your background color of the render instead of black just click up top at render then Environment just change the first color square to whatever you want Edited November 18, 2003 by IF_GRT
Whisper_44 0
I believe there is an option to save a render as a jpeg too.
Swarm 0
Yes, when you render the render window will showup and you'll see your image you rendered. In the top left hand corner there is a small icon with a a floppy disk on it (just like in Microsoft Word if you have it). Click that and it will bring up a window asking where you want your image to be saved and in what format. After you hit save you may also get a window asking you serveral questions based on the format you picked. It will be such things as the image quality vs. image size (in kilobites). Go through all this and you should have a saved render ready to be uploaded and posted
Tech 0
What I do, to keep the best quality possible, is I save my renders in .bmp and then I open them in Photoshop and save them as .jpg and I get a better quality then just saving my renders in .jpg... Up to you man... T.E.C.-Leader Tactical*Elite*Corps
